I Saw My Own Fear ...


Without expecting it, i encoutered with my own fear yesterday. It happended when I do a 20 minutes meditation after the class, based on my teacher's instruction. As usual I sat down in lotus pose, with straight back, relax tummy, I closed my eyes. After the teacher repeated the 7 sounds, slowly I settled down to the meditation. Not many thoughts came out during that time, only minor one, the sounds getting softer but I still focus on whatever sounds that appeared. After about 17 minutes, suddenly a feelings of fear came out from nowhere. Even with my eyes closed, I felt like something is watching me in front and tried to force me to open my eyes. I really felt scared that time, it was like I am threatened by some kind of monster sitting right in front of me, waiting to eat me. My heart pound heavily and I felt desperated & wanted to open my eyes.

But then i remember my teacher said focus on the sounds on whatever thoughts come, including the fear feeling. After a while, my teacher rang the bell to indicate the end of the session. The fear feeling slowly subsided and I opened my eyes slowly. That's the experience I have with my own fear in my mind.

I learned that whatever thoughts that appeared in our mind during meditation, will be cleansed from our body when you finished the session. I believe I have cleansed away the fear in my heart and mind. I know
it works for me. Glad that I was not eaten by the devil monster that appeared.

Our 3 Bodies

I was 15 minutes late for the meditation class yesterday. But luckily the class haven't start yet.
As usual we filled out the questionaire sharing out our daily meditation experience. We learned about 3 bodies and the meaning of 7 sounds teached to us.

During the class, we learned that human have 3 bodies rather than 1.
These 3 bodies are: physical body, astral body and causal body. The physical body is the one that we can see, touch and feel. Whereas the astral body is our memory kept in our mind. The causal body is the outer layer that surrounding our physical body and astral body. The astral body and causal body are energy fields that surround our physical body. If we have too many memory and trapped inside the astral body that caused us cannot reach to our causal body. Our memory of childhood, bad incidents, words that we have heard, our routine habits are all kept inside our astral body. If our astral body is too thick, we will be trapped in our past memory.

I had been trapped in the past before, that really bring lots of suffering to me. But now finally I know I have free from it. It's like you are inside a coccoon and waiting for the right time to break out and become a new person. It's a reborn kind of experience for me, a metamorphosis process. I am glad that I have made it !

The causal body is our spiritual body that bring us in touch with the creator of this world. This is where our soul located. The soul is with us since we are born and each individual soul is unique and special. As we grow up, things that happened in our life, memory started to accumulate in this body and become our astral body, that block us from reaching our soul. Though for some people it might sounds religious .

It's going to be a long way for me to understand more on meditation. But now I will just focus on what I can do daily, to meditate twice daily without any expectation. Expectation will bring down yourself if you cannot perform up to it. I experienced that myself in yoga. Something which is too routine will do no good as well. It's just not practical keep defeated in this way. It's human nature not to be feel defeated but triumph.

Hope I have been blessed with all the good and all the good will come to my way.

Time Will Come

When one's heart is looking for something to happen or have desire need to be fulfilled, it's human nature to feel frustrated and keep asking when it will happen or when the desire can be fulfilled.

The waiting part become longer and longer and one's is getting lesser and lesser patient with it. This happen if you do not understand the law of nature. Things will happen when it is intended to happen. Forcing will not make things happen immediately even with great effort. The crucial key here is the time is not right. When the time is not right, but you are forcing to happen, a conflict will be there which has the opposite effect of achieving something.

I realized this after practising yoga for some time. Our body know what is the best for us to survive since the beginning of first life on earth. Sometimes when people ask me how to be able to perform certain pose. I will advice them that not to force but listen to you body. It is your body know you best but not you know your body best. Sounds strange isn't it ? All the while we thought we know our body the best. We exercise, eat high energy food, taking clean of it and detox. But we feel puzzled when the body get sick after all these efforts. Then we started to wonder what really happen to our body ?

In yoga, learning to let go, rather than holding and thinking about the pain will help you sinking deeper into the poses. Let go of the pain you feel in your legs or hands, by focusing on your breath. After a while, you feel more relax and the pain gone. Trust your body. And do not force it. I have a friend that told me that once she injured herself during hanumanasana pose. It should not be that way. Yoga will not cause any injury to the body if you know the right way.

I think most of us have neglected what our body trying to tell us. We forcing the body too much until we ignored those signal sent out to us to warn us on something.

My point here is that don't forcing anything but wait patiently for it. Time will come when it hits the right tune.

Each one of us has some energy fields around our body. The energy field is formed through the vibration of atoms, the most gradular entity in this universe I believe. The energy will transmitted to the universe via various medium around our body. The air, the vapour, the water, the wind, the tree. If you have read a book titled 'The Secret', you will remember in the book, it mentioned about the law of attraction : think of things that you want, then the universe will reply with it. How does this happen ? It is the energy field/vibration that play the tricks.

It happened to me not once but twice based. Few months back after I was enlightened, I consistently waiting for my mentor/guru to appear. And it did happened. It is not a co-incidence or by chance but I am the one that sent out the energy/vibration out that attracts it to happen.

The law of attractin is true but as my meditation teacher said, something still missing from it - they never tell us how to perform it ,the way how to achieve it. Meditation could be the only answer to it.

Inspiration Or Desperation

It was an ordinary day and I was fascinated by the sunset view from the yoga center window. I believed that's one of the reason why the center is located here, right on top of a hill with a window looking out to the vast sky. I like this place much. That day I sat down with my meditation teacher and shared out an experience with her, someting that totally change my life and opened a new chapter for me.

After the sharing, she told me that basically there are 2 ways that prompt human to breakthrough of current state and look beyond , inspiration or desperation. Both brings a totally contrast meaning.

Inspiration is a positive energy that push someone to look beyond for something new or breakthrough.

Whereas desperation is a negative energy that drive someone to look for a breakthrough too, but in a much rather painful way compare to previous one. It's the hopelessness that drive me to look for a way to change my life, because it caused too much suffering to myself. I guess it's human instinct to survive, when life hits a bottleneck.

Yesterday night during the class, my yoga teacher introduced a new word to us 'Samsara', taken from buddhism context. It means chasing the tails without stopping. It is just like a cat is trying to chase its own tail, running in a circle but he will never get it. Same as my previous experience, I am going round and round in a circle with my own thoughts. Without my awareness, I am chasing my own tails in a circle.
Then when something bad happened, suddenly I was awakened from this chasing game.

Meditation can help us to break out of this chasing game. It helps us to open up again those neuron connection which have never been used or being neglected due to our routine habits or way of thinking.

It helps to smooth out our 'Chi' in the body as well. Our body 'Chi' flow just like a flowing river. If the river is fulll of unwanted stuff like rubbish, oil stains, then the flow will not be smooth &wil get congested. Same goes to our 'Chi' flow in the body. All the pains that we suffered are caused by serious congestion in our 'Chi' flow. It's a symptom of blockage flow. So one's should not ignore the pain, but rather pay attention to it and find a way to clear this congestion.

Meditation will helps in this. I am still in the exploring stage on meditation. I hope one day I can be good enough in meditation and pass all the benefits & skill that i have learned to others as well. The world is filled with too much negative energy and the world need more positive energy to balance it back.

My 2 Posting Are Missing !

Out of sudden my 2 previous posting on Eckhart Tolle book - The Power Of Now are missing. I remember I posted it out near year end when I borrowed the book from my brother in law. Well, I felt abit puzzled and sad at first. But then when I think back, I didn't lost anything at all, these 2 are just articles written in words. What I learned from the book, it will stay with me forever as part of my experience.

You see, it goes the same way on what we are having now. Your house, your car, your phone, even your laptop will vanish one day. So what can be with us only the experience and wisdom.

One of my friend forward me an article few days back and I only manage to read it this morning. It's an article written by Feng Shui master, Joey Yap. It's titled 'Success In The Present Economy'. Basically he is trying to promote his feng shui course in this article but he brings out 1 important point : Invest In Yourself. It immediately caught my attention. I do agree with him that we are our own best asset. Things that we can see or hold are just too fragile and it is out of our control to make it stay. But what stay strong and not fragile is our ownself. We need to work hard on cultivating ourself because that the only asset you have when everything touchable in this world perished and not affected by the environment.

It's good to invest something in yourself. Attending a fitness class, yoga or learning new skills such as language or baking, make you being with yourself.

The key word here is being. In this world, most people not being with themself in life. This is because we have too many thoughts running in our mind. It's a natural state for our mind to be full of thoughts coming in and going out. Investment in mind such as a meditation course definitely worth the penny. If you cannot even understand your own mind, how can you use it to master feng shui skills ?

Starting Up With A New Journey...

I signup for a sounds meditation course last week right after attending the introductory session, given by the center founder, Beth. It was a very useful intro session to me. As I started to understand why meditation is such an important way to fulfil our life purpose. Meditation helps us in the areas as below as highlighted by Beth :

- helps us to understand more about ourself
- improve our health conditions
- increase our awareness
- increase our stress barrier

I am particularly attracted by the 1st & last point. Beth commented that in order to cope with the environment happenings, one's must understand him/herself first. With that in mind, only you can face the world bravely. Thus I do believe meditation will helps me to understand more about myself. It is similar to a case where you must understand your ship features, specification and behaviour of it then only you know how to cruise with it. Same as human's mind. I guess my weakest part previously will be my emotional one. One of the example given by Beth is our mind just like a big ocean, with strong waves and lighter waves going through it. When strong waves move in the ocean, nothing can be seen clearly underneath. But when the waves stopped, the surface become clear and everything underneath can be seen clearly. That's where the meditation come to calm the strong waves.

The strong waves is resemble our mind's thoughts, which constantly move in and out in our mind. I have had an experience before, which caused almost a destruction to me due to one single thought that keep roaming in my mind. The worst that I have ever had & I promised to myself that I will never done that gain to myself. That's the reason why I was attracted to meditation and start looking for it.

A strong wave is destructive enough to destroy the whole 'SHIP' ! Ship here can means a person, a country or even the whole world.

Meditation helps to increase our stress barrier as well. A stronger castle frontier means higher resistance to enemy's attack. Same as our resistance to stress, if you spend time to build stress resist frontier, then our ability to cope with stress will increase. Meditation helps to increase our resistance to stress.

I have tried few meditation techniques before and sounds meditation is a new for me.

I believe meditation will help me in finding out my purpose of life with the right guidance from the guru. I know I should keep the cup quarterly full first as there are more waiting for me to explore and discover.

All You Need Is Just 1 Step Further...

It's not easy to take the 1st step towards a new world. In fact, it's just feel like one hundred thousand kilograms of rocks putting on your feet, not even moving an inch. But I know I need to find a way to survive and a way to step to another world.

Time doesn't wait for human. And I do not want to regret my life when I look back. Please give me strength to clear off those doubts and uncertainty. Bring me more courage and strenght, to remove those rocks from my feet. As light as feather i will hops and dance and bounce, til I reach and touch the softy cloud above me. I know obstacles definitely will be there for me. I know devil/evil is peeking through the holes, finding oppoturnity. But I will overcome all these with determination and faith.

Give me wings so that I can fly as high as I can and see spaces beyond the imagination of human. Knowing that my angel always waiting for me there, I will smile back to her and send her my wishes and blessings. Angel, please guide me to my home, where I can find peace and tranquility.
